There are many things we can already trust AI tools like ChatGPT to do for us, but should academic research be one of them?

According to Avi Staiman, AI can be used to dramatically reduce the time it takes to publish credible, important research. It can even act as devil’s advocate for authors, helping them foresee criticism and sharpen their arguments before publication. The trick is to be very, very careful, because of we get AI wrong in academics, it may soon be extremely difficult to tell fact from fiction.

In this episode of the Europreneur Podcast, Robert Van Der Zwart  talks with Avi Staiman about how AI can be used responsibly in the field of academic publishing and what’s at stake if we get it wrong.

The Europreneur Podcast is also available on Spotify.
